IDEO Future of Books

Muitas pessoas acreditam que a evolução dos livros são os e-readers. Você faz download da edição digital para a sua tablet e pronto, já está no futuro.

Mas isso não é nada perto do que propõe a IDEO, uma consultoria especializada em design. São 3 conceitos básicos, aos quais eles deram os nomes de Nelson, Coupland e Alice.

Mais do que um texto digital ou com animações bonitinhas ativadas se você chacoalhar seu iPad (ou algo que o valha), o que conta aqui é explorar as funções de verdade, que passam pela interatividade e pelo aspecto social da leitura.

A proposta do Nelson é ampliar a perspectiva que se tem de um texto, e poder acompanhar o debate em torno de temas e ideias apresentadas em um livro. Já o Coupland é formar uma biblioteca baseada nas recomendações e discussões da sua rede social profissional. Por último, o conceito Alice é voltado para engajar o leitor no processo de storytelling, em que você pode participar da história realizando certas tarefas e, dessa forma, o autor revela conteúdo secreto.

Vale ver e imaginar as possibilidades das ideias apresentadas nesse exercício de futuro, mas que ao mesmo tempo parece bem palpável.
