Mini & SPCA: Free Dog With Every Car
Posted in: UncategorizedWhile the successful MINI Driving Dogs campaign was running, we wanted to give all the other SPCA animals a chance to drive too. So we gave newly adopted puppies a free car which they could drive home in. OK, it wasn’t really a car, but it looked just like one. We created a special carry box shaped just like a MINI. With a convertible roof the box also transformed into a dog bed where puppies could happily spend the first 8 weeks of their lives. The MINI-box was available in three authentic MINI colours to suit your pet and your personality. And like all MINIs, new owners had the option to customise with an alphabetic sticker sheet to create a personalised license plate. It was also accompanied by an owner’s manual. Thanks to MINI, all dogs had the opportunity to drive.

3M Earplugs: Volume Pack

The task was to develop an original promotional packaging solution that immediately conveyed the product value of 3M’s Solar Earplugs – a product targeted at end users frequently requiring effective noise protection (such as musicians and festival-goers).
Solution:
3M turned the purpose of the earplugs – to reduce noise – into an original package design. The container’s cap looks like the volume knob of a hi-fi system; when opening it to reach the earplugs, one seems to be turning down the volume.

Posted in: UncategorizedL’Accueil Bonneau, a charitable organization that has been at the service of Montreal’s homeless population for the past 135 years, wanted to create an event which would mobilize hunting enthusiasts within Montreal’s business elite to a Wild Game Benefit Dinner in order to raise funds for its operations. For the occasion, we created a unique direct mail piece featuring a rifle bullet encased in a wooden box with a message that read: “This bullet could save lives”. A paper housed inside the cartridge invited the recipients to register for the benefit dinner online. In just one evening, we raised over $65,000.

Posted in: UncategorizedAfrica has a severe shortage of doctors and other healthcare professionals. So Africa Health Placements sent a direct mail containing a pressure activated device to recruit foreign doctors to work in Africa. Once opened, a message prompts doctors to place their stethoscope on the device, this activates a pre-recorded MP3 that speaks directly to them. The audio for the ad was recorded at a low level so that it was only audible through a stethoscope. Turning something that every doctor possesses into an advertising medium to create the world’s first stethoscope audio ad.
