Classy Furniture: Onam Festival
Posted in: Uncategorized

Onam is the most celebrated festival of Kerala. It’s rooted on a mythical generous king named Mahabali. It’s believed that he used to visit once in every year. And that occasion is ‘Onam’. Employees irrespective of government and non government get yearly bonus on Onam. That’s the spending spree for Keralites. Deliberately we used Malayalam, the local language to get maximum expression. This campaign is a colloquial and a creative mix. It’s depicted as King Mahabali preacing Keralites. The headlines in the campaign sounds ‘UndOnam’, ‘IrunnOnam’ and ‘KidannOnam’. In each captions there is ‘Onam’. But when combined with other words, it invokes different meanings. ‘Undonam’ means ‘You have to eat well’. ‘Irunnonam’ means ‘You have to sit well’. ‘Kidannonam’ means you have to lie well.’ Classy is a designer furniture boutique based at Cochin, Kerala. This campaign connects well with Onam and it’s products in a most effective and creative manner. With ‘Undonam’ it connects with Onam and dining table. And with ‘Irunnonam’, Onam and Sofa. ‘Kidannonam’ connects Onam and Bed cot as well.
