Breakout Summer Hit? Not Yet

MINNEAPOLIS (AdAge.com) — The networks seem to have settled nicely on creating summer reality shows that are the TV equivalent of escapist movies in the Cineplex or pop hits on the radio — easy, breezy and yes, occasionally cheesy. But with the possible exception of ABC's "Wipeout," that hasn't led to runaway hit so far this year.
