Compromise allows Sky’s rivals to offer sports channels pending appeal resolution

LONDON – BSkyB and Ofcom have reached a deal in their ongoing pay-TV court battle that means BT, Top Up TV and Virgin Media can offer Sky Sports 1 and 2 next football season but have to pay Sky’s current rate card price with the prospect of a refund.
