Nubank: TED Lover
Posted in: Uncategorized

A toy made to troll traditional banks.
Cultural Background: “TED” is a Brazilian acronym for Available Electronic Transfer (Transferência Eletrônica Disponível). Brazilians use a TED when they need to transfer money to another bank account instantly. The idea: NuConta, Nubank’s current account, has free of charge and unlimited TEDs. But some traditional banks were still charging up to R$19,05 for a single transfer. So we showed everyone a better way to use that money by creating an exclusive “TED Bear” that anyone could buy for the same R$19,05.
