Adriana Cury Says Adeus To McCann Erickson

adriana-site.JPG

After three years of kicking ass and taking names, Adriana Cury, Chairwoman and Chief Creative Officer of McCann Erickson Brazil, has decided to step down for person reasons. This past May, the agency brought in Luca Lindner to share the throne of power with Cury. Perhaps, because McCann knew she was looking to transition out.

The news has been on Twitter for hours. Cury has worked at several different agencies including MPM, Leo Burnett, AlmapBBDO, Lowe, Colucci and Ogilvy.

The woman is a serious force. She’s snagged eight Lions and in 2006 she was a judge for the Titanium Lions category at Cannes, “making her the sole female, Brazilian and representative of Latin America.” Now, that’s hot.

We wish Adriana the best.
