Why Miles Nadal Appointed an Analytics Whiz to Head MDC Partners


MDC Partners has hired former Harrah’s & Caesars Entertainment Chief Marketing Officer David Norton to lead analytics and consumer insights across the holding company. MDC owns agencies such as 72andSunny, CP&B, Anomaly and KBS+.

It’s an unusual role, but MDC is known for hiring talent at the parent-company level in roles that rivals don’t typically have, such as a chief procurement officer.

Mr. Norton will be charged with optimizing MDC’s analytics resources and helping drive clients’ profitability. He spent 13 years at Harrah’s & Caesars Entertainment overseeing areas such as CRM, loyalty, multicultural marketing, customer insights, VIP marketing and retail.
