Ragusa: Incorrigible

Ragusa is a traditional brand of chocolate made in Switzerland. It was invented over 75 years ago and is still made with the same recipe today. Ragusa is edgy – not just because of its angular shape but also because it always stayed true to itself over the decades. Authenticity therefore is at the core of the campaign celebrating the strong brand-personality of Ragusa as well as the everyday quirky traits of its customers that make them who they are. Ragusa is like all of us – not perfect, but idiosyncratic and full of character. In one word: incorrigible.

What if a backpack could change the world? To raise awareness of the importance of education for kids, on this World Children’s Day, 20 November 2018.
Around Australia, statues of children wear the blue UNICEF backpack with the message, #PackForTheFuture, to raise awareness of the need to equip every child, everywhere with the education they deserve. In Parramatta, a statue of Sir John Martin – a child whose determination to get an education took him from servant’s son to NSW Premier and Chief Justice of the NSW Supreme Court – wears the backpack as a symbol of the transformative power of education. Even in New York, the famous Fearless Girl wears the #PackForTheFuture backpack to inspire people to stand up for children’s education. By placing the backpacks in the public eye, UNICEF shares its message with the world – that when we equip children with what they need to succeed, we give them hope, allow them to dream, and help them live the best possible futures they can.

The concept of #PackForTheFuture has also been brought to life through a free photography exhibition at the Sydney Opera House, on the Western Broadwalk until 21 November. It features children from 22 countries, from Syria to Somalia, and the Rohingya refugee camps of Bangladesh to the South Pacific. In each photo, the UNICEF backpack is part of their story. Filled with pens, notebooks – and hope – the blue backpack often becomes the most treasured possession these children own.

Ontario Government: The Risk

Ontario Government Integrated Ad - The Risk

The campaign is part of a broader government initiative to create awareness around Rowan’s Law. The law, a concussion protocol legislation, is named after Rowan Stringer, an Ontario high-school rugby player who tragically died after sustaining multiple concussions at the age of just 17.

The 360 campaign created by the agency, Rethink, also includes: a 30s version running in cinema, as well as a design system with a modular logo for Rowan’s Law created to identify the various signs of concussion and, while not mandatory, can be implemented into amateur sports uniforms. The logo features a stop symbol divided into the two sides of a human brain.

Wires: Through their eyes

Estimates are that hundreds of thousands of our native animals are killed on our roads every year. While not every accident can be avoided, driving with more care especially at dusk and dawn can help save lives. Many marsupials are carrying pouch young and the lives of these orphans can often be saved if advice from rescue groups such as WIRES is sort quickly.

FiberCreme: Padang without Coconut Milk

In a new campaign for FiberCreme, Iris Jakarta teams up with Indonesian influencer Kevin Hendrawan in a film that sees him set out on the seemingly impossible task of finding people willing to cook, or eat, food without coconut milk. With the underlying pitch that FiberCreme is a healthy alternative to coconut milk, Hendrawan travels with a film crew to the Padang, known in Indonesia for having the highest use of coconut milk in its cuisine.

Budweiser: Is This Cheers On You?

Bone marrow donations are unfortunately not as common as they could be. People tend to think that it’s a painful procedure, when in reality all that’s needed is a bit of DNA. Budweiser has created a campaign to facilitate donation, using only a beer can. Creating new packaging with a resealable top and all you need inside to become a donor.

Renault: The DisCO2unt Billboard

Bucharest, the capital of Romania, is one of the most polluted capitals in Europe and the most congested city on the continent, according to the TomTom Traffic Index. With daily levels far exceeding the recommended limit, residents face serious health issues.

The electric Renault ZOE can help bring down air pollution. But, with Romanians seeing electric vehicles as too expensive, a lateral approach had to be found. So, pollution was turned against itself.

When air pollution went up, the price went down. To make the idea happen, Renault connected one of the largest digital displays in Europe with pollution sensors placed in high traffic areas around the city. An average was calculated and converted into discounts using a custom-made algorithm. On the billboard, the price of the Renault ZOE changed every six minutes. Anyone could claim the discounted price on the spot, using their smartphones.

BBR Saatchi & Saatchi and Para Chocolate present Sweet Advisor

The Eurovision song contest is the biggest musical event in the world and this time it’s taking place in sun filled Tel Aviv – the ‘city that never sleeps’. In total, some 18.000 tourists are expected to make their way here. That’s why Para Chocolate, Israel’s national chocolate brand thought up a way of making their stay super sweet and at the same time give them a taste for the place they wouldn’t forget.

Working with one of the country’s best chocolatiers, it created Para Chocolate’s ‘Sweet Advisor’. A map of Tel Aviv made entirely of Para chocolate that not only details the city’s sweetest spots – but the city’s best kept secrets and places only the locals know about but make Tel Aviv what it is.

The map which awaited them on their bed at Brown and Atlas Hotels throughout the city, pinpointed over 10 points of interest in the city including:

The Shuk HaPishpeshim Flea Market – one of the city’s most colorful places where you can find vintage items while walking through the market’s picturesque side streets filled with bars and restaurants.

The Habima Square – one of the city’s most beautiful squares and home to the Habima Theater with its sunken garden in which we recommend sitting and drinking a beer from one of the nearby bars and cafes.

The Rabin Square – where you’ll find the world’s largest concentration of peace doves.

The Brown Bar – Located at the Brown Hotel which offers a real Tel Aviv kind of atmosphere and the best cocktails this side of the Middle East.

While our chocolate is probably too good to share, we’re pretty sure our visiting music fans will share the knowledge with their friends to make sure they have a stay that really rocks!
