This week we are launching a 6-part mindfulness meditation series, each addressing an all too familiar holiday stressor. Through the power of a mindful guru guide, and accompanying visuals, these stressors evaporate, allowing the listener to truly be in the moment over the holiday season, and, of course, enjoy an intense moment of Cuervo.

As part of their ongoing “Just Refined Enough” repositioning, 1800 Tequila released “The Refined Players,” a five-part digital documentary series, conceived by CP+B LA and produced by Billboard, which follows award-winning jazz musician Christian Scott, as he brings together five raw musical talents from around the country and creates a new, refined sound from the collective, adding in hip-hop artist Vic Mensa along the way. The series culminates in a performance at Preservation Hall in New Orleans of a newly refined track “Freedom is a Word.”

Trying to find the perfect Christmas gifts can turn out to be rather stressful. So, in an attempt to ease the Christmas anxiety, McDonald’s in Sweden have launched a special gift wrap that almost guarantees any gift to be well-received at Christmas Eve. A McDonald’s franchise owner in Sweden is now offering the guests a special Christmas gift wrap which can be returned and exchanged for a free Cheeseburger after Christmas. The gift wrap is also designed to look like the classic Cheeseburger wrapping (obviously), which will make for an unexpected sight under the Christmas tree. The Cheeseburger Gift Wrap is only available in selected McDonald’s restaurants in Sweden.

Every year, BMW wishes its customers a new year of exhilarating and safe driving pleasure. But this time it is not just a wish. With a special Christmas card, BMW and Air want to ensure there is extra safety on the road.

AIR developed the ‘Christmas Safety Card’ in collaboration with electronics company Selectron. It’s a Christmas card that shouldn’t be put on the mantelpiece but hung in the car. The micro sensor in the card measures driving behaviour and reacts with a spoken message (Ho! Ho! Hooo! just like Santa) when the car is driven unsafely. The sensor measures the G-forces and reacts when the car accelerates too much, or when it brakes or drives too quickly through bends.

This technical prowess took quite some time to organise, and required much testing and reprogramming. The limited edition Christmas card was sent to members of the BMW M LEAGUE who recently bought their car and participated in the BMW Track Days. Drivers who we know want to get the most out of their cars in a responsible manner. We hope our ‘Christmas Safety Card’ will help them drive safely through the winter and beyond.

Mysterious footage of unidentified flying objects has been shared by BMW owners across the world, with some claiming it might actually be Santa Claus himself. The dashcam footage – or ‘#DasherCam footage’ as it’s been dubbed on social media – was taken unwittingly by drivers of The Ultimate Driving Machine, and appears to catch Father Christmas and his faithful reindeer in the act; making their way around the world delivering presents at light-speed. Sightings have been pouring in from as far as Australia and India, as well as from across the UK. One particularly close encounter saw one BMW owner being woken up by presents falling from the sky. Another, slightly unluckier BMW owner, was left frustrated by piles of less generous ‘presents’ left by a midnight gathering of reindeer on his front lawn. “It wasn’t until I looked through my dashcam footage that I realised Santa and his reindeer had been prancing all over my lawn. They were captured on film, as clear as day!” BMW has been urging all drivers to now check their dashcam footage from Christmas Eve and the early hours of Christmas Day, and to share any sightings of their own.
