-Sid Lee Paris launched this spot for Skyn condoms imploring viewers to “love everywhere” and “feel everything.” (video above).
-Former UCLA basketball star Lonzo Ball trolled his dad in BBDO New York’s Father’s Day spot for Foot Locker.
-Louiseville, Kentucky-based full-service digital agency PriceWeber launched a new website for Korbel California champagne.
-The Philippine Department of Tourism ended its relationship with McCann over a campaign which allegedly plagiarized an earlier ad from South Africa and stated it “expects an apology” from the agency.
-Lucky Generals welcomed Sara Tate as a partner.
–Sir Martin Sorrell says it’s a “watershed moment” for media agencies.
–Roberts Communications president Katrina Busch tells The Drum her advice is to “try to do or learn something new everyday.”
AT&T takes a page from Old Spice in its latest commercials from BBDO New York, pushing the mobile carrier’s Unlimited Data offering by humorously imagining if other things were unlimited–namely romance, basketball dunks and hockey. “Unlimited Romance,” in particular, has a cartoony vibe, with an amorous couple rolling around in the sand on the beach…
With Americans expected to shell out $15.5 billion on gifts, cards, dinners, ballgames and more to mark Father’s Day on Sunday, marketers are themselves likely to spend about $2 billion on advertising to take advantage.
Marketers’ expected outlay is up 2% from last year, according to Robert Passikoff, president and founder of Brand Keys, which researches customer loyalty and engagement.
That’s still half a billion dollars less than marketers spent to cash in on Mother’s Day by Passikoff’s estimate.
Competition series and a boomlet of retro game show revivals are being tasked with much of the heavy lifting this summer at the broadcast networks, which are looking to rebound from a soft spring.
The Big Four networks saw their deliveries of adults 18 to 49 in May fall 13% from a year earlier, according to Nielsen C3 ratings. ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox notching an aggregate 4.1 rating in primetime, down from a 4.7 C3 rating, which offers a rough estimate of commercial impressions in live and time-shifted viewing within three days of a program’s first showing.
While May marks the end of broadcast’s 35-week regular-season schedule, the month’s usual barrage of finales, cliffhangers and Very Special Episodes did nothing to boost the networks’ flagging ratings. The game-changing final episode of season 10 of “The Big Bang Theory” (which happens to be the highest-rated scripted show on network TV) delivered 20% fewer adults in CBS’s target 25-to-54 demographic than did the season 9 closer, while the conclusion of the third chapter of “Empire” was down 39% in Fox’s 18-to-49 target.

30 Millions D’Amis Foundation
30 MILLIONS D’AMIS FOUNDATION CONTINUES FIGHTING AGAINST ABANDONMENT Just before the summer holiday departures and at a time where 60 000 pets are abandoned each year, the Foundation goes back campaigning with Buzzman in a gripping movie.
With more than 40 million views, and ranked 4th of YouTube’s most popular ads in France, 30 Millions d’Amis Foundation barked loudly last year! Directed by Vincent Lobelle, this new movie shows a man helping an abandoned dog out of a forest… 30 Millions d’Amis Foundation would have wished to tell you this story. But this is the truth : it takes nothing for this same man to turn out to be a coward, guilty of abandonment.
The sad reality is that abandonment is highlighted here with a reversed editing allowing the same images to tell two different stories. The movie will be broadcasted on TV and online starting June 15th. During the summer, to reinforce the awareness message, a print campaign will be displayed all around France.

Lego
In a world where politicians construct walls to create divisions within society, ReBuild Peace works to bring children of different ethnicities, religions, and social class together to break walls down to make peace. In a joint effort between PartnersGlobal and Lego, we created ReBuild Peace, a special Lego play-set that comes with a pre-assembled wall for children to break down and build something that will better our world. Whether children use the wall pieces to create trees, schools, or other needed institutions, the ReBuild Peace play-set shows children that by partnering together we can overcome the hurtful divisions facing the world today.
