Ballad of the Sad White Alpha Men

Sean Hannity’s current advertiser drama is obviously reminiscent of what his Fox News colleague Bill O’Reilly went through recently, but it’s also a lot like what Donald Trump is going through right now.

To bring you up to speed, in case you’ve only vaguely been paying attention:

Trump booster Hannity, on his Fox News show “Hannity,” has been deep-diving down a rabbit hole by pursuing the conspiracy theory that Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was murdered (a hit, presumably, ordered by Hillary Clinton) for leaking DNC emails to WikiLeaks. The theory is catnip to Trump supporters because if a DNC staffer did the WikiLeaking, rather than the Russians, then, in Hannity’s words, “the entire Russia collusion narrative is hanging by a thread.”

Digital Is Disrupting Everything, Including This Print Article

Disruption was on the minds of several Advertising Hall of Fame inductees I interviewed over the last couple of months.

Their attitude was “transform or die,” in the words of Kay Koplovitz, who founded the first cable TV network.

But as Irwin Gotlieb of GroupM pointed out, transformation is easier said than done. In our economic structure, the financial markets value a disruptor “in a very different way” than they value an operating business. Traditional media operate on a price-earnings ratio of 15 to “maybe” 20, he said. With disruptors, it’s 220-plus, so companies like Netflix can afford to spend up to $10 million per hour for content.

Veja no […]

Hampton Creek Founder Talks Squelched Investigation, Company Valuation and New Design

Hampton Creek’s packaging makeover may help the vegan products maker distance itself from controversial headlines and a pinch of government scrutiny.

In August, a Bloomberg story suggested the Just Mayo maker hired contractors who bought lots of the product off store shelves, dragging the company into the spotlight. A month later, Bloomberg Businessweek ran an in-depth expose. Those pieces were not the first to raise questions about Hampton Creek or its founder and CEO, Josh Tetrick. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Justice Department even looked into possible securities violations and criminal fraud, inquiries Tetrick announced in March had been dropped. He’s moving on.

“It’s hard to go through stuff in general without learning something,” Tetrick said when asked about those issues. “Things just worked themselves out.”

Sanctuary: Print Responsibily

Outdoor, Print
Sanctuary Asia

MISSION: To put a stop to unnecessary printing that we carry out in offices and at home. Printing is easy now-a-days. However, what we do not realise is the fact that thousands of trees are cut down every day to produce the tons of paper we use. The more trees we cut, the less forest cover we have. As a direct consequence, the animals in the wild are rendered homeless. By this current rate, it is only a matter of years before many species go extinct.

IDEA: This print ad campaign that we conceptualized and designed, conveys the message that with each print, we are killing wildlife. It urges the viewers to print responsibly and print only when actually required.

RESULTS: After this campaign was released, many people pledged to stop unnecessary printing on the Sanctuary Asia page. The campaign was shared across many social media websites and gained a lot of traction.

Naruhodo #78 – Como funciona a memória?
