« Hagakure » est un paravent de table fait d’hêtre et de PMMA par le designer français Bertrand Besnard. En s’inspirant du livre des samouraïs, sorte de Bible pour le personnage principal du film « Ghost Dog » de Jim Jarmusch, ce designer a réussi à concevoir un objet graphique et visuel, comportant plusieurs déclinaisons : décorer une étagère, créer une zone de travail ou s’en servir comme miroir.
L’idée qu’on se fait d’une usine d’incinération de déchets est en général très proche d’un bloc de taule et de béton sans vie. Une des exceptions qui semble confirmer la règle a été inaugurée le 2 septembre dernier dans la ville de Roskilde au Danemark avec la nouvelle usine de transformation de déchets en énergie designé par Erick van Egeraat. Un chef d’oeuvre du génie civil à découvrir.
Le designer Ignor Lobanov a imaginé le STAR Yacht : un bateau en forme d’étoile (grâce au reflet dans l’eau) qu’on pourrait apparenter à une sorte d’iceberg. Mesurant 131 mètres de long et 60 mètres de hauteur, The STAR offre une surface impressionnante conçue en respectant une certaine symétrie. Un projet réalisé en collaboration avec BMT Group et Alex Malybaev afin de proposer une redéfinition du luxe des yachts.
