ENPA
Don’t let their holiday end here.
In Italy pets abandon highly increases during the summer. One of the most common and worst habit among the people that have a pet is to leave them along the way, while going on holidays. This sadly happens mostly on highways, roads, garbage dumps, parking areas. ENPA aims to tell those people that there is a solution, which is not abandoning pets, of course, but to bring them on holiday as Italy is full of pet-friendly accommodation.

Staffing Changes at RPA, Arnold and More
Posted in: UncategorizedRPA hired Jason Tarantino as its newest VP/strategic planning director.
Tarantino is an agency veteran whose previous role was that of group planning director at TBWA’s Media Arts Lab. The release tells us that he “co-managed a team of more than 30 planners and researchers and directed strategy” on various Apple initiatives. Prior to that gig, he spent a year as SVP/GPD at the Martin Agency and more than two years as GPD at R/GA’s San Francisco office (his second stint with the agency).
He also worked as a senior strategist at W+K and spent several years as an independent contractor for various brands after beginning his agency career in Razorfish’s strategy department. Tarantino will report directly to David Berne, SVP and director of strategic planning, who writes that the hire will “will further enhance RPA’s ability to unlevel the playing field for our clients.”

Chili's Wants You to Stop Saying 'Check, Please'
Posted in: UncategorizedEvery weekday, we bring you the Ad Age/iSpot Hot Spots, new and trending TV commercials tracked by iSpot.tv, a company that catalogs, tags and measures activity around TV ads in real time. The New Releases here ran on TV for the first time yesterday. The Most Engaging ads are showing sustained social heat, ranked by SpotShare scores reflecting the percent of digital activity associated with each one over the past week. See the methodology here.
Among the new releases, Amazon shows off its Kindle Voyage with an origami-inspired animated spot that Creativity previewed and made an Editor’s Pick. And Chili’s promotes not only its new Lunch Double Burger but the fact that it’s installed Ziosk touch-screen systems at its tables that let you pay when you’re ready instead of having to wait for the check. (Read the backstory at The Atlantic: “Chili’s Has Installed More Than 45,000 Tablets in Its Restaurants.”)
As always, you can find out more about the making of the best commercials on TV at Ad Age’s Creativity.
