At the first quarterly Women@NBCU advisory board meeting on April 17 in New York, 25 high-ranking female executives from the media, marketing and publishing sectors all converged for a "door ajar" meeting at NBC Universal's headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York to discuss marketing to women during a recession. What emerged is an emphasis on communicating why a product, even an expensive one, has value and is worth a consumer's money.

Brainstorm #9 New Logo Abduzeedo

Em quase 7 anos, o Brainstorm #9 passou por apenas duas mudanças. Do html porco (calma, não tem gripe) que fiz no Dreamweaver em 2002, e que foi quase na íntegra do Blogger para o Movable Type em 2004, e depois para um código construído pelo Mairus para WordPress através de alguns PSD’s que desenhei em poucas horas. Isso já em setembro de 2007.

Agora, menos de dois anos depois, o layout passou por renovada. Não é uma mudança radical, nem estrutural, e sim uma maneira de organizar melhor as informações, diminuir o peso, dar ainda mais valor para o conteúdo e, principalmente, comportar a maior mudança: o novo logo.

Em todo esse tempo, o blog nunca teve uma marca de verdade. Eu também achava o #9 legal, muita gente já conhecia, mas nunca foi um logo. Na verdade, era só uma marcação rápida do nome do site que fiz até que um dia um designer de verdade o criasse.

E eu que sempre fui fã do Abduzeedo (no início nem tinha idéia de que era escrito por um brasileiro), convidei o Fabio Sasso para assumir a missão de criar um ícone de verdade para o Brainstorm #9. Foi pouco mais de um mês de trabalho, sempre com a proposta de ser algo simples e que de alguma forma transmitisse a intenção do blog.

O resultado você pode conferir acima. Se é um dos 11.500 assinantes do feed que provavelmente nem sequer lembra a cara do site, aproveite para fazer uma visita.

No Abduzeedo, Fabio conta todo o processo criativo por trás do logo, com rascunhos, versões prévias e incluindo a história do número 9. Apesar de eu já te-lá contado algumas vezes, acredito que a maioria não sabe de onde saiu esse 9.
