Fireproof is Blazing the Box Office

It has often been said that budgets given for films do not really make much of a difference as far as how the audience would watch them. But given the right approach and dramatization of events, many would be surprised how short budgeted films like “Fireproof” have defied the odds and even make it among the film top grosser seen today. And they did it using a $500,000 budget at that!

“Fireproof” follows the story of firefighter Caleb Holt (Cameron) whose marriage begins to fall apart after the honeymoon is over. Cameron’s character in the film is encouraged to fight for his marriage instead of relying on the standard Hollywood solution of divorce. As a friend tells him, “You run into burning buildings to save people you don’t even know, but you’re going to let your own marriage burn to the ground.”
