TOM-Tikkun Olam Makers: The Prescription Paper Pill Bottle
Posted in: Uncategorized
Every year, billions of plastic pill bottles end up in landfills and ocean dumps. Because small bottles can’t be recycled, they become toxic waste that devastates our marine life and natural ecosystem.
Introducing the Prescription Paper Pill Bottle. No plastic. No artificial glue. No toxic dye. The 100% compostable bottle is also designed to meet FDA requirements for water, light and child resistance. Once emptied, it can be composted to enrich soil giving back to the earth.
Made in partnership with TOM, Tikkun Olam Makers, the global movement of makers and innovators, it’s created with an open source design that’s easily downloaded and manufactured at any makerspace.
Now pharmacies can fill patients’ prescription medicine that’s good for their health with packaging that’s also good for the planet.
