O Boticário
O Boticario, a brazilian brand specialized on perfumes, made the first fragrance in the world with the scent of a city. Since they are the sponsor of the movie to be launched “Rio, Eu Te Amo” (meaning “Rio, I Love You”) to be launched this year, following the series of “Paris, Je T’aime” and “New York, I Love You”, they decided to do as the movie, to search for the essence of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The locals, called “cariocas”, were the ones that gave the inspiration to the perfumers that later used an innovative technology to capture the smell of different places and moments in the city that in the end became a fragrance, the essence of Rio.
