Martin Sorrell’s pay up 48% in 2012 as WPP confirms salary cut

Sir Martin Sorrell, the chief executive of WPP, was paid a total of £17.63m in 2012, up 47.6% year on year, after he received more than £11m from a long-term incentive plan and despite the group making reductions in response to shareholder pressure.
