Kimberly-Clark Names Sirkin CMO
Posted in: UncategorizedKimberly-Clark Corp. has named Clive Sirkin chief marketing officer, elevating him from the senior marketing officer post he was named to last year.
Mr. Sirkin will continue to report to Tony Palmer, president-global brands and innovation. In that post, Mr. Palmer focuses on product development and general-management talent in addition to overseeing Mr. Sirkin and the marketing area.
Mr. Sirkin joined K-C in 2007, part of the team Mr. Palmer brought in after he became CMO a year earlier. A native of South Africa, Mr. Sirkin had been group managing director on the Kellogg account at Leo Burnett Co., Chicago, before coming to K-C, and Mr. Palmer had been a Kellogg veteran. He helped Mr. Palmer implement K-C’s integrated marketing communications program.
