Disney Names Staggs to No. 2 Post, Making Him Favorite to Succeed Iger

Thomas O. Staggs, chairman of Disney’s theme park operation, will take the added title of chief operating officer. Robert A. Iger, the chief executive, is to retire in June 2018.
