Casa do Zezinho is a NGO located in Capão Redondo, one of São Paulo’s poorest neighborhoods. It helps more than 5.000 children have access to education. A year before the Soccer World Cup, we developed this project with São Paulo’s biggest soccer team and used their jerseys to get people’s attention to education. Player numbers on the back of the jerseys were switched for mathematic equations that equaled their original numbers. The players used them during one of the most important football derby’s in Brazil: São Paulo x Corinthians. At the end of the game, all jerseys where auctioned off on the internet, and all the money donated to Casa do Zezinho.
