Is Patriotic Advertising Always a Good Fit?
Posted in: UncategorizedIt’s the time of year where brands across North America blitz consumers with patriotic ads, social media content, shelf-talkers and package design. The rationale behind this messaging approach boils down one or more of the following assumptions:
Consumers will like and/or buy our brand more if we tap into national pride;
This is something we’ve always done, our competitors do it and therefore we should continue to do it as well;
