Facebook is target of class action lawsuit from 20,000 consumers over data breaches

A data privacy campaigner and Viennese lawyer is leading a class action lawsuit against Facebook, with more than 20,000 people from 100 countries signed up so far, who are accusing the social network of breaching EU data laws.
