In full social isolation by COVID-19, there has been an increase in complaints of violence against women. The figures are heartbreaking: the Chilean Ministry of Women speaks of more than 70% of calls to the Guidance on Violence against Women offices compared to the previous period.
In the name of 54D (intensive training program) and its global community, this is a tribute to honor all the strong frontliners risking their lives to save ours every day.
For the most of us, our home became an office, a gym, a playground, almost only place we can visit nowadays. To encourage people to stay home and stay safe – we decided to remind what is home for a person, and what makes it a place, where we want to stay in.
Stay home and read against Covid! We wanted to remind about the importance of self-isolation, and used reading for this. Books are good friends which never get you bored at home. And it’s even more enjoyable if they can support you in a difficult situation. With the wisdom of Shaw and Tolstoy, any loneliness are easier to bear! Moreover, home reading helps to beat pandemi?. We used a visual trick to show it – a book opened near the face looks like a mask. To remind about self-isolation and make it easier, we challenged followers to put a photo with a book with the form of a mask on the face and add hashtags #readvscovid and #?????????????????. Winners got promo codes for books.
