Model sues online jeweler over orgasmic ad
Posted in: UncategorizedYou might recall the above Szul.com spot, which we wrote about in November. Its “sexy, adult storyline†involved a woman getting orgasmic after receiving a diamond pendant. (Tagline: “Jewelry works every time.â€) Now, it seems the model is suing the online jeweler for mucking up her “wholesome image.†According to court papers dug up by the Associated Press, the unidentified 37-year-old woman says she did not “consent to or authorize the use of her likeness, picture, image or name to simulate a female having an orgasm or otherwise experiencing sexual pleasure.†Also, she only got $200 for the gig. She’s suing for $5 million. The appropriate price tag is probably somewhere in between.
