Global Lyme Alliance: Ticking Lyme Bomb

Global Lyme Alliance Outdoor Ad - Ticking Lyme Bomb

Lyme disease is much bigger problem in our cities than you think. And as the months grow colder, ticks are still active year-round when temperatures are above freezing. Intouch is partnering with Global Lyme Alliance to help solve challenges for unsuspecting urban populations at risk. With over 476k new cases a year, Lyme is spread by the bite of an infected black-legged deer tick. As deer populations continue to expand from forests to suburbs to urban parks (feeding on mice and rats) they bring the threat of Lyme disease to millions of city dwellers. GLA is dedicated to conquering Lyme and other tick-borne diseases through research, education, awareness & patient services. Join them in defusing the ticking Lyme bomb.
