Stressed Out? This Kitten Therapy Office From Tidy Cats Will Cure You With Cuteness

Kittens are notorious advertising stars, and as it turns out, they’re miniature therapists too.

At least, that’s one takeaway from this stunt in Los Angeles, where Purina Tidy Cats invited stressed-out people into a glass room—fully visible to people on the street—and had them listen to guided mediation.

And then … the kittens are unleashed. And adorable overload ensues.

The video, from Rainn Wilson’s media company Soul Pancake, might seem better suited to cat adoption than cat litter. But it’s fun to watch, and will surely get a bajillion views.

Publicis & Hal Riney Go to the Dogs with Purina

Last year was a good year for Purina’s Beneful dog food, which spent more than $52 million in measured media advertising. Fallon was at the helm of those buys, as they were with Purina One for more than 25 years.

Today, Fallon has neither brand.

scored Purina One, and now Publicis & Hal Riney have won the creative for Beneful. While no one of note at Publicis & Riney could be reached for comment, Fallon was happy to say this about its quarter-century shaggy-dog story:

Agency CEO Mike Buchner said of the brand’s departure: “It has been an honor for Fallon to have represented Purina’s core dog food brands for over a quarter of a century. We are proud of the brands we’ve built together and the work we’ve created that has helped drive their business forward for decades.”

Purina’s Beneful Goes for Maximum Viral Appeal With Dog-Operated Rube Goldberg Device

Wook at the poochies! Wook at the widdle poochie-woochies! What else do I really need to say about Deep Focus's "Dog Goldberg Machine" commercial for Purina's Beneful dog-food brand? It's doggone adorable the way those mutts manipulate toys, food tins and tennis balls to operate a Rube Goldberg device that ultimately spells out the tagline, "Play. It's good for you," in dominoes. My jaw drops in a massive "Awww!" when I watch the ad, which has garnered nearly 1.5 million YouTube views in less than a week. You could never get cats to do this stuff. They'd claw the director's eyes and chew through the camera cords. But check out the choreographed canines. Oooh, does pooch-ums wike his Fwisbee? This is way cuter than the Honda "Cog" spot, which started the whole Goldberg trend in advertising. In fact, there wasn't a single dog in that commercial, though "Cog" spelled backward is … "Goc." So cuuute, I'm woozing my mind! Awww! Credits below.

Stop Treat your Dog like a Trashcan
