Serve gets punny for STD out of home

Serve Marketing, the country’s only all-volunteer advertising agency, created these crazy out of home boards for the Women’s Fund of Omaha. Their Adolescent Health Project is working to curb STDs in Omaha. Kudos to the Women’s Fund for being irreverent. The art direction is Garbage-Pail-Kids-gross, and the lines are…well….just remember kids: Puns are a disease. Only you can prevent them.

Evian partners with Le Slip Français for limited edition collection

Evian and Le Slip Français have partnered for a collaborative pop up collection for babies and grownups alike. Starting this month, the 100% made in France evian X Le Slip Français collection, can be found on Le Slip Français as well as in stores. There you’ll find adult and baby versions of the same T-shirts. I’m a sucker for merchandising. Neat idea.

EuroGames Stockholm pays homage to the 1912 Stockholm Olympics

Olympic advertising is as old as old can be. Stockholm was running Pro-Sweden ads for the Olympics as far back as 1912. The original poster, designed by Olle Hjortzberg’s design, featured a lot of nudity and even with a couple of orange streamers were well-placed, the poster was banned. Today of course, the banners wouldn’t be necessary, but the ads would be banned for being Pro-Sweden. (It’s a joke. Ask the Hyper Island graduates at your agency.)

Topical ad : ‘However you beat the tube strike Sure keeps you fresh with every move’.

The London Underground will go on strike, during the hottest month of the year, and still people will need to get to and from work and other places. Enter this antiperspirant brand “Sure” topical ad campaign, telling people that even if the tube stops, they don’t have to. They might bike, walk or take one of those silly little scooters to work, and if they do they’ll need a good antiperspirant considering the heat. “However you beat the tube strike, Sure keeps you fresh with every move”.

VW doesn't want you to drool

Becuase once you see the new VW Jetta, you might end up salivating.

Put On the Ritz

Here are some ads for new Ritz Thin & Crisp. They aren’t as fun as the TV/Music video featuring the song Putin’ on the Ritz, but hey, what are you gonna do?

Reach for a way out

The O Ninho Association partnered with TBWAAngola to create this ads reminding us that for most women, prostitution isn’t a choice. It’s either a result of human trafficking. or straight up desperation.

Pets can help stop domestic abuse.

It will probably come as no surprise, but 76% of those who beat animals also beat family members. These bus shelter ads went up around Milwaukee to spread the word that animals can help in this situation. If you see an abused animal, call 911. There’s a good chance the person doing the abusing is doing the same to a family member.

Don't be fooled by funny money.

DM9DDB São Paulo created a campaign that shows how easy it is to full tourists with counterfeit money and offer up the Novo Mundo Cash Passport card as a solution.

League Against Obesity – Firemen, Astronaut, Fighter pilot (print)

Latinworks (with the passionate blond MD) have created this campaign for the League Against Obesity (http://lcosp.com) in Guatemala. Targeting parents by reminding them of the dreams we all had as children (I wanted to be a highway motorcycle cop because I watched CHiPs), the image shows our usual astronauts, firemen and fighter pilot, except they are extremely obese men in these uniforms.

28toomany.org – FGM near you / Flags – print

This reminded me of the delicate stitched roses against FGM from Amnesty created by Publicis, Stockholm back in 2007 – except of course this is making the point with flags. These flags are very neatly stitched together to evoke the idea of female genital mutilation, complete with stains of blood droplets. Very realistic without being gory.

BMW take over billboards to show the BMW 3 series – since 1975

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the beloved BMW 3 Series and the launch of the latest model, FCB Inferno has created a striking outdoor and print campaign that will be seen across high-profile sites nationally. BMW has produced six generations of the best-selling model, which are paid tribute in individual executions. The art direction has been crafted to pay heavy reference to each era, with typography, the angle of the car and colour palate all evoking a strong sense of nostalgia; be it the hacienda tones of the 90s dance music age, or the minimalist whites of the 00s.

Kanat Agricultural Insurance is like Noah's Ark for produce

Cute little Biblical visual solution for Kanat Agricultural Insurance that protects farmers from unexpected disasters.

McCann Worldgroup in New Delhi, India created this campaign for Greenpeace. Each “ying-yang” has been hand illustrated, see the progress photos attached. The images isn’t a giant Katamari Damacy ball (remember those videos?

Pedigree is great for firming up your dog's poop.

As evidenced by this disgusting visual solution of a fly who broke his teeth trying to eat it. *hurk*

VISA doesn't want you to travel with cash

When you travel with cash, you are cash on the street. I *think* that means you’re just waiting to have your money stolen. Nice art direction, anyway.

Helsinki Region transport wants us to start biking

To celebrate bike week, my favorite Finnish agency, Agency 358 made these tasty looking posters. Fun stuff. And ironic, too. If everyone started biking, Helsinki Region Transport would have a lot of empty seats on its trains and buses.

Zyrtec Allergy – Leash / Frisbee / Car (2015)

This idea comes from the fact that In Puerto Rico when people are allergic to dogs, it’s somehow tolerable, but when people are allergic to cats they get rid of them at once.

Zyrtec Allergy stops your cat allergies from acting up, so you can play frisbee with your cat anytime. Hang on, I think I took a wrong turn here somewhere… But it does make for a striking visual.
