Camp + King Promotes Michael Ng to Associate Creative Director

San Francisco-based agency Camp + King promoted Michael Ng to associate creative director.

Ng has served as a senior copywriter with Camp + King for a little over a year, working with brands including Sling and Remax. A VCU Brandcenter graduate, Ng freelanced with agencies including W+K and Johannes Leonardo, and worked as a copywriter for The&Partnership before moving to San Francisco to join Camp + King.

“Michael’s ascension to the ACD role is a natural next step,” Camp + King chief creative officer Roger Camp said in a statement. “Like a bird, Michael has developed strong breast muscles to flap his cerebral wings and give him the thrust to move through the air and ‘fly’ in the metaphorical sense. And I’ve noticed that, like a bird, Michael’s bones are hollow and light, but strong. It’s qualities like these that will allow Michael, and his ACD partner Chris Nash, to soar.”

Ng’s promotion follows Camp + King launching its first work for Energizer last October, after winning AOR duties for the brand at the beginning of 2016.
