Vilnius Birdie: 1st Amateur Badminton Tournament

From the mossy past we’re bringing badminton back for a new cadence.

As badminton used to be quite popular in the past and is somehow a vintage mystery in modern Lithuania, we decided to use this fact for the promotion of the 1st amateur tournament of the sport in Vilnius. We picked up a Lithuanian writer from the beginning of XX century and paired her with our current President (we covered her identity, but the truth came out fast). Like that, with the help of a shuttlecock and a pair of racquettes, put in the surroundings of the square that the tournament will take place in, the past connects to the modern times.

Fletcher: 2013 Calendar

The Challenge: To reward clients and collaborators with a 2013 Calendar and make this little present a unique gift: useful yet creative and cool.

The Idea: Given the superstition around number 13, we created a calendar where 12 myths and superstitions, some good some pretty bad, are deconstructed and their origins explained in an illustrative and irreverent way. On top of that, we added a custom-made laser engraved piece of wood to knock on, for those extremely superstitious.

The Paris Review, The New Yorker, The Moth The Guardian.

ParagraphShorts-1a
