Posted in: UncategorizedO Google e o Arcade Fire chamam de “filme interativo feito em HTML5″, mas eu não tenho certeza se só isso explica esse experimento intitulado “The Wilderness Downtown”.
Você coloca o endereço onde cresceu – eu escolhi um lugar qualquer em Nova York, pois ruas brasileiras o site diz que não tem dados suficientes do Google Maps e Street View pra experiência ser 100% – e então começa um “vídeo” multi-janelas no seu navegador com a música “We Used To Wait” do Arcade Fire.
Além de mostrar o potencial do HTML5 – e puxar sardinha pro Chrome – o projeto usa o seu browser como uma mídia artística. A ideia partiu do diretor Chris Milk e do Google Creative Lab, que queria criar um clipe personalizado, sem ser preso aos formatos padrões de vídeo.
O lance é que, além da parte tecnológica da coisa, o experimento tem relação com a letra da música, e no final lhe pede para escrever uma carta para os seus herdeiros desse planeta. Na segunda fase do projeto, esses textos serão selecionados para se transformarem em cartões postais (de verdade) contendo a semente de uma árvore (de verdade).

Posted in: UncategorizedNa semana passada, a Gucci estreou seu comercial de perfume dirigido por Frank Miller. Tem aquele estilo todo e… OK. É isso.
A Chanel fez bem menos barulho com seu filme, também de perfume, dirigido por Martin Scorsese, e este está algumas escalas acima do rococó de Miller. Eu sei que é injusto comparar, mas são dois trabalhos de grife voltados para o mesmo segmento.
De qualquer forma, a primeira pergunta deve ser: de quem veio a ideia? Do diretor? De uma agência (que não é citada na ficha técnica)? O filme da Chanel tem um ideiazinha, da Gucci é só a estética.
