“Escape from City-17″ foi produzido com impressionantes 500 dólares, mas tem cara de blockbuster de ficção hollywoodiano. Segundo os Purchase Brothers, como David e Ian se denominam, o curta foi filmado em estilo guerrilha: sem dinheiro, sem tempo, sem equipe, sem roteiro.

Agora representados pela produtora canadense Sons and Daughters, David e Ian esperam ser contratados por agências e clientes para dirigirem comerciais. No site você pode conferir dois trabalhos que a dupla realizou como portfolio para Coca-Cola e Apple.

O Harlem Globetrotters, um dos eventos de basquete mais conhecidos do mundo, graças a performance inusitada de um grupo de grandes astros e ex-celebridades da NBA, ganhou um jogo online que pode ser acessado (free), de qualquer computador, através de um banner colocado no Candystand.com (famoso site de mini-games americano).

São duas opções de jogos. Tem o “Dunk Off“, que você pode criar várias acrobacias antes de fazer a sua enterrada, e o “Spin That Ball“, na qual é necessário girar a bola sobre o dedo, sem deixá-la cair.

O projeto já está sendo considerado um “advergame” pela mídia local, sendo que a estratégia é válida para estreitar a relação dos fãs com o evento.
